While visiting on business, be sure to take advantage of any spare evenings and get to know Cleveland. Several major attractions stay open later in the evening one day of the week, and shopping centers and boutiques are often open after 5pm, too.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1100 Rock and Roll Boulevard, Cleveland 44114), a mecca for true rock and roll fans and history buffs, extends its hours until 9pm on Wednesdays. Jack Cleveland Casino (100 Public Square, Cleveland 44113) offers a winning combination of games, entertainment and eats. Try the new Synergy Table Games, which are a blend of electronic table games, live dealer games and interconnected play. Make plans during the week to take a sunset dinner cruise with Nautica Queen (1153 Main Avenue, Cleveland 44113) for a breathtaking view of the Cleveland skyline.Or, check the schedules of the Cleveland Orchestra (11001 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland 44106) and Music Box Supper Club (1148 Main Avenue, Cleveland 44113), and take in an evening show.

5th Street Arcades (530 Euclid Ave, Cleveland 44115), open until 9pm Sunday through Monday and 10pm Friday and Saturday, gives visitors the opportunity to get a taste of Cleveland with a sample of independent shops, like Colonial Coin, Stamp & Jewelry Co.; Love, Anji; WE BLEED OHIO and Kilted Bros.

Pinecrest (Park Avenue, Orange Village 44122) is a new development with lots of exciting shops and restaurants, like the only Shake Shack in Ohio, as well as a brick and mortar Warby Parker store, Silverspot Cinema, Vineyard Vines and West Elm. Hours will vary based on individual businesses.

Both are lifestyle centers with plenty of shopping and dining options, as well as a hotel option. Crocker Park, open until 9pm Monday through Saturday and 6pm on Sunday, carries shops from American Eagle Outfitters and Gap to Lulu Lemon, Michael Kors and Urban Outfitters. Legacy Village, open Monday through Thursday until 8pm, Friday and Saturday until 9pm and Sunday until 6pm, has offerings such as Crate & Barrel, Nordstrom Rack, Pier 1 Imports and Lilly Pulitzer.

Cleveland Clothing Company is a great spot for picking up souvenirs and gifts, like trendy t-shirts with Cleveland references. The uptown location (11435 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland 44106) stays open until 8pm Monday through Saturday, and the downtown location (342 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland 44114) is open until 9pm Monday through Saturday.

In the 216 (1854-A Coventry Road, Cleveland Heights 44118) carries all things Cleveland, from hats, jewelry and other accessories to home décor, mugs and books. Shop this location until 8pm Monday through Thursday and 9pm Friday and Saturday.
